The extended tanks keep the bikes from overheating and the extra bracing give the radiators more overall strength. The 450's tend to overheat if you sit at an idol for a while, all that is non existent with the extra tanks. You also will not have that mid moto fade where your bike tends to start to flatten out because of heat issues. Most importantly, you can use your stock radiators to have them made out of so you don't have to waste extra money on new radiators!
